• Recycle Bin / Trash: check here first and restore if present.
• OneDrive/SharePoint/Google Drive: use version history or the online recycle bin.
• Office apps: File → Info → Manage Document → Recover Unsaved.

Act quickly — the sooner you ask, the more likely recovery is. Open a ticket under Software with the file name and last-known location.

Where self-service is enabled, you can install approved apps from the company software portal:

1. Open the Software Center / Self Service app on your device.
2. Search for the application and click Install.
3. Wait for the installation to finish, then launch from the Start menu or Applications.

If the app you need is not listed, open a ticket under Software.

To request an application or license:

1. Open a ticket under Software.
2. Include the exact software name, version, and your business reason.
3. Note any deadline so we can prioritize.

Requests are reviewed for licensing and security before installation.
